Check and track your Domain Rating over time

Domain Rating (DR) is the most used authority score in SEO: a 0 to 100 measure of how strong your backlink profile is. There are plenty of free checkers that will tell you your DR today. The problem is that a single number, checked once, tells you almost nothing. Is 32 good? It depends entirely on where you were last month and where your competitors are.

What counts as a good Domain Rating? As a rough guide:

• 10 to 30early stage, the first quality referring domains are landing
• 30 to 50an established site with a solid, growing link profile
• 50 to 70strong authority, enough to compete in most niches
• 70+elite territory, usually big brands and major publications

Keep in mind DR is logarithmic: climbing from 50 to 60 takes far more links than going from 10 to 20. That is also why the honest benchmark is not any fixed number, it is your own trend line against the competitors in your niche. And now you have one.
