Documentation

BasecampSEO keeps your Search Console history past Google's 16 month cut off, and adds movers, brand and non brand splits, page groups, annotations and indexing coverage on top of it.

These pages cover how to use that in the dashboard, and how to reach the same data from your own scripts or an AI assistant.

Guides

Getting more out of Search Console than its own dashboard allows.

For developers

Read your Search Console data outside the dashboard. Both surfaces are read-only.

Before you start with the API
  • Create an API key in Settings, Developer tools, where it is shown once. A key reads the same sites your own account can see, and cannot change anything.
  • Search Console publishes data with a delay of about two days, so the most recent days are always empty.
  • API and MCP access is on paid Pro and Agency plans.

Reading these with an AI assistant? Every page has a markdown version written for models. Add .md or .txt to any docs URL, use the Copy page button, or start from the index at /llms.txt.
